AGRAUD’S KINGDOM

Known for being the most beautiful kingdom, Agraud lives right by the Dark Forest, a place where no man dares to delve into (unless they’re drunk). There are many legends and stories of this Dark Forest, but the most famous is of King Agraud himself going into it to defeat an army of trolls single-handedly, earning him the name Agraud the Brutal. The royal family is descendant of Agraud, and they’re known for being fair rulers and keeping the kingdom well at peace. Residents here often live a good life, and are most times found in the square where the market is set up.

FOREVIEL’S KINGDOM

This kingdom lives on a small island not too far off Acirewiel, and is connected to the country by a long drawbridge that’s lifted up in case of attack. Foreviel is another pretty kingdom, surrounded by sparkling blue water and known rather well for its ships and fishing. The residents here are used to hot weather and swimming, and seafood is what their meals are made of most days. The royal family here is known for being strict and defendant of its kingdom, and the King and Queen are yet to have any children despite not being particularly young.

ETHOTHIEL’S KINGDOM

Cold and windy, Ethothiel lives at the top of the biggest mountain in Acirewiel, also known as the Skytop. Ethothiel citizens have to be well-adjusted to the cold weather, and there’s plenty of snow in this section of the country to go around. Ethothiel is most known for the Snowbank Orphanage, where all orphans discovered across the country are shipped to. But the kingdom also has a bit of a low population, since no one wants to live in the freezing cold; however, they managed to get by. The royal family here is rather laid-back and not too stressed; after all, who would want to take over such a freezing kingdom?

LYNARETH’S KINGDOM

Surrounded by lush forest, Lynareth is a rather good kingdom to live in despite its vampire problem. The citizens here use the forest to their advantage, producing lumber and firewood using the trees around them. This kingdom also has the largest hunting population, as the place is ideal for it. Because of this, the residents here learn to be resourceful and survive on their own, and everyone here tends to get along well. The royal family is particularly kind as well, but is always approached with word of the vampire problem; however, the King and Queen are new, after the last royal family was destroyed by a fire. Citizens always debate about this issue, as no one knows the whole story.

MERCENATH’S KINGDOM

Not much is known of this kingdom; outcasted onto an island not far off the coast of the Dark Forest, Mercenath’s Kingdom tends to keep to itself, and citizens rarely leave the place. Reports are rare from this place – the last time there was one was when word got out of a couple of boys being killed by a “mysterious darkness” (which died down quick due to witnesses suspected to being drunk at the time), and that was a while ago. This kingdom lives by an active volcano – Mt. Mersian – and Mercenath has a system of avoiding the lava, as said by reporters. But there isn’t much more information – not on the royal family, the boys’ deaths or on what their lava-avoiding plan is.

RARIZ’S KINGDOM

Described as being dark and odd, Rariz’s Kingdom lives on the brink of the desert, right by the ocean. This kingdom doesn’t get many visitors due to its dark reputation (“something about the place is off” as some put it) and because of its location. The residents here live fairly well though under their overprotective King, whose Queen is dead and only has one son as a possible heir. Citizens here do not have much to worry about, although there have been scattered concerns of the King being power-hungry.

SALUTH’S KINGDOM

The largest kingdom, Saluth is a center for trade and visitors in Acirewiel. It’s in the middle of the country, and a place where many nobles and upper-class folk live, despite being nowhere near the capital of Thirarith. The citizens here often live a good life, as their kingdom is rather rich due to an unfortunate accident – Prince Michael of the royal family was cursed by a mage, who gave him a magic that made everything he touch turn to gold. This is still big news of the kingdom, and the royal family attempts not to speak of it much. This kingdom lives on a large island in the ocean that divides up the country, and ships are often taken to it for trade and visitors.

THIRARITH

The shining capital of Acirewiel, this place is described as being the crown jewel of the country, mainly because it is the center of the Empire. This place, like Saluth, is also home to many nobles and upper-classmen, and entry to this kingdom is rather strict. The kingdom lives on top of the mountains that border the country, to keep intruders away. Emperor Audric and Empress Justine ruled here – Audric being the main ruler – but this kingdom was also the start of the great Civil War. Justine had died giving birth – and so had her and Audric’s son in the process – and not too long afterwards, Audric had been assassinated. With no heir, the general has temporarily taken over, and there is still a struggle of who is to become emperor.
